Jerry L. Rumph, Jr., represents clients at trial and on appeal in all areas of marital and family law and certain areas of civil practice throughout Florida. Board certified by the Florida Bar as a Specialist in Marital and Family Law since 2019 (recertified in 2024), Jerry brings more than sixteen years of trial and appellate advocacy to matters involving divorce, alimony, equitable distribution, parentage, time-sharing, and relocation. Jerry is also an experienced drafter of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Jerry earned his JD/MBA from Florida State University in 2009, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Florida State University Business Review and as a student editor of the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy and graduated with numerous academic honors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Technical Writing, from the University of South Florida, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

A frequent voice in Florida family law, Jerry has published articles on time-sharing and relocation, judicial procedure, and client communication, and recently co-presented a continuing legal education seminar on "good fortune" child support. He serves on the Florida Bar's Family Law Rules Committee and has contributed to numerous Family Law Section committees covering equitable distribution, children's issues, support issues, and appellate matters. He has also served as a guest lecturer and textbook contributor for a Florida Family Law course at Florida State University College of Law.

Jerry has earned an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been repeatedly recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer and Super Lawyers Rising Star. He is a former Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator in Family Law and has served as a court-appointed guardian ad litem in Chapter 61 proceedings. He is active in the Tallahassee Bar Association and the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court.
